JUNKYARD

Junkyard was formed in 1986 when David Roach (The Streppados) and Chris Gates (Big Boys, Poison 13) joined forces in Austin, Texas and decided to head to Los Angeles, California with their blend of blues, rock, boogie and punk.

A self-titled album followed in June 1989, which was quickly followed by the May 1991 album release "Sixes, Sevens and Nines". Their next release "Shut Up - We're Tryin' To Practice" (which was recorded live at The Palace, Hollywood, CA, in August 1989) came out in July 2000, and an EP "Tried And True" was released in March 2003. Various re-releases of the albums have happened with the latest being the re-release of "Sixes, Sevens and Nines" in January 2013.

Then in July 2015, Junkyard released the single "Faded" which was backed with "The River". This single became available on vinyl on 11th September 2015 and the video for "Faded" can be seen below.
